Sami and Molly, September 13th 2014

Lincoln and I first met Samantha and Molly back in the summer of 2012 when they were searching for a wedding photographer for their 2013 wedding. After hearing a bit about what they had planned for their big day and how much they loved photography, Lincoln and I were thrilled when Sami and Molly chose us to document their celebration. However, due to health reasons, Molly and Sami decided to postpone their nuptials until summer of 2014. Little did any of us know that this postponement would coincide with a change in the law, and Samantha and Molly’s marriage would be legally recognized by the state of Oregon. Oh happy day! What a celebration this was! From the moment we stepped foot on Pendarvis Farms on Saturday, September 13th, we could sense the excitement and joy that eminated from the brides, their family, and their guests. Molly and Sami love Pendarvis Farm and wanted to use as much of this unique setting for their ceremony and reception. They were married on the sun-speckled wood stage tucked back in the forest, their dinner reception took place in the apple orchard and, the party continued with dancing and merriment in the Galaxy Barn. Molly and Sami’s talented group of friends rallied together to provide them with several different aspects of their day, including the flowers, cake, and live music, just to name a few. Molly and Sami, a big, heartfelt congratulations to you both. Lincoln and I are so happy for you and we are honored that you chose us to photograph your wedding day.
