2011 WPJA Q4 Contest Award Winner!

I’m excited to announce that one of my images has placed in the top twenty of the 2011 Wedding Photojournalist Association Fourth Quarter Contest! The WPJA is a membership-based international organization of photographers who specialize in documenting weddings in a story-telling way. It’s truly an honor to have one of my images recognized among the work of such a talented collection of photographers from around the world.

Below is the photo that was recognized. This image was taken at Keri and Ricky’s wedding on July 3rd, 2011 at The Oregon Golf Club. We’d just finished doing a few portraits of the bride and groom at sunset. I took this photograph as they headed back into their reception.
