Laura and Eric, July 16th 2011

This next set of images reminds me that nothing can diminish true love or the human spirit. Just six days before they were to be married, Laura and Eric heard the news that their wedding venue, the View Point Inn, had been destroyed in a fire. With less than a week to find a new venue, caterer, and rentals, one would imagine that most couples would be frantic or distraught. Not Laura and Eric. This incredible couple handled the news with grace, humor, and a positive attitude. Together with their families, they were able to secure a new venue, the Treasury Ballroom in downtown Portland, and hosted a joyful and memorable celebration. Laura and Eric, many thanks to you and your family for being so kind and gracious to us. Congratulations and wishing you a future full of happiness and adventure!
