I can’t believe it’s here: our very last wedding from 2010! Lincoln and I bid goodbye to 2010 and rung in 2011 documenting Jenny and Michael’s incredible New Year’s Eve wedding. If you follow our blog, you may recognize Jenny and Michael from their early autumn engagement session at Howell Territorial Park. Lincoln had such a fun afternoon with Jenny and Michael at their engagement session, hanging out on Sauvie Island, getting to know them a little better before their big day. After their engagement session, I knew that their wedding day was going to be something special…and it was. Their wedding day was, in my opinion, a perfect blend of elegance, whimsy, style, and fun; one of the loveliest and most lively events that we’ve had the opportunity to photograph. Their day started at the Paramount Hotel in Downtown Portland, with a morning of relaxing and getting ready, followed by their ceremony at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in SE Pdx. Their ceremony was followed by a festive reception at the Portland Art Museum that included a photo booth, mustache bar, a hot chocolate station, and pizza at midnight, just to name a few fun details:) Many thanks to Kara Markovich of Ella Events for her flawless event coordinating. Jenny and Michael, a big hug and congratulations to you both. Your wedding day was so much fun to photograph and we thank you for choosing us to document it! xoxo
