Monica and Kyle, May 2nd 2009

Monica and Kyle love to laugh. Love it!  In fact, when I met with them a few weeks before their wedding to discuss photography details, we spent almost the entire time giggling about one thing or another. So, when Monica told me how important it was to her and Kyle that their guests have fun and feel comfortable at their wedding, I knew it was going to be a great day. Monica and Kyle were married by Kyle’s mother at the Old Church in downtown Portland, Oregon. Their ceremony was followed by a reception at the Kennedy School in Northeast Portland. Monica and Kyle’s shared interest in music was evident throughout their celebration. They walked down the aisle to instrumental versions of rock and roll songs, they named their tables after 80’s hard rock bands, they even had a karaoke DJ! Monica and Kyle – you rock, your friends and family rock, and your wedding rocked too. Thanks for making us a part of your day!

I love Monica’s smile. It’s beautiful! I also love this photo of her in her veil. Simply lovely.

Not only is Bella cute, she’s also incredibly smart and funny. I think she did this just to make everyone laugh. It worked:)
