Jill and Alec, August 22nd 2009

Every wedding we’ve ever photographed at the View Point Inn has a certain magical quality to it. Jill and Alec’s wedding on Saturday, August 22nd was no exception. Maybe it’s the amazing location, perched on a bluff, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. Or maybe it’s the unbelievable sunset that seems to happen no matter what.  Maybe it’s the intimate setting that allows the couple and their guests to truly enjoy one another. I believe that it is all of those things combined that made Jill and Alec’s day so special. The range of emotion, from tears of joy, to laughter, to quiet reflection, is what really stands out in my mind when I think back on their wedding day. It was magical indeed! Jill and Alec, thank you for the opportunity to document such an important day in your life together. We wishing you a sincere congratulations and all the best in the future!

I was told that only 8 bottles like this are sent to the US per year and one of them was at Jill and Alec’s wedding. Nice!

    Lauren,
    These are gorgeous! Thank you for taking such special care in capturing all the wonderful moments of this day. These photos will be ones we look back on and remember for years. Simply the best!
