Top 10 WPJA Photographer

For the past two years, I’ve been a member of the Wedding Photojournalists Association, a professional organization of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. Four times a year, the WPJA holds a photo contest where members enter photos from recent weddings.

The latest contest was judged by members of the world-renowned photo agency, VII. This group of photographers is comprised of some of the best and most respected photojournalists in the world. I’m proud to announce that two of my images have won third and fifth place in the latest contest.

In addition to placing in the latest contest, I’m also listed as one of the Top 10 WPJA Photographers from the latest contest!! Very exciting!!

Judges Comments: BW combined with movement in the image creates a moment of mystery of a traditional moment.

Fifth Place | Category: Food & Drinks

Judges Comments: Wonderful slice of Americana and in a expression based moment that speaks via a journalist and not the typical “look at the food” situation.
